How to require approval before provisioning an application
To provision apps immediately after they're requested, keep the require approval setting disabled.
Otherwise, switching it on will display the default approval behavior when apps are requested, which can be further customized for each individual app.
When approvals are enabled, you'll need to map the workflow status that a request transitions to once approval has been granted. This is how Multiplier determines whether approval has taken place so it can go ahead and carry out provisioning.
You can optionally select the default approver – this can either be the application owner, the requestor's manager (as defined on the identity provider the user was found) or a Jira user of your choice. The default approver can be overridden when configuring the different Access Types for an application.
Next, select the field the issue uses for populating approvers. You will need to select a field for User approvers (this is typically the Approvers field), and one for Group approvers (this is typically the Approver Groups field), as they are different fields in JIRA.
Once the configuration is complete, click Update Approver Workflow to save the changes.
