This document will guide you through the process of integrating Multiplier with Zoom to track when users last hosted meetings for use with Auto Reclaim.
By setting up this integration, you'll be able to automatically monitor Zoom meeting activity and reclaim unused licenses.
Prerequisites
Before you begin the integration process, make sure you have administrator access to your Zoom account and a Multiplier Advanced edition subscription.
Step 1: Create a Server-to-Server OAuth App in Zoom
To create a server-to-server OAuth app in Zoom, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace
Click on Develop and select Build App
Select Server-to-Server OAuth as your app type
Complete the app creation form with your application details
Configure the required scopes for accessing meeting and user data
Activate your app once configuration is complete
Step 2: Retrieve Your Zoom App Credentials
To retrieve your app credentials from Zoom, follow these steps:
Navigate to your app details page in the Zoom App Marketplace
Locate and copy your Account ID
Locate and copy your Client ID
Locate and copy your Client Secret
Store these credentials securely for use in the next step
Step 3: Configure Multiplier with Zoom Credentials
Now that you have generated an access token, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Multiplier's configuration screen
Select Zoom from the available integrations
Enter your Zoom Account ID in the designated field
Enter your Zoom Client ID in the designated field
Enter your Zoom Client Secret in the designated field
Save your configuration to establish the connection
